SC woman arrested by Charlotte and Bessemer City police in armed robbery case

BESSEMER CITY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte and Bessemer City authorities have arrested a South Carolina woman for her involvement in an armed robbery case.

According to Bessemer City Police, at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, officers within their department and CMPD’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team took Shelby Maire Ziska, of Blacksburg, SC, into custody on an outstanding warrant.

Ziska has been charged with:

  • Robbery with a dangerous weapon

  • Conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon

Zilska is being held at the Gaston County Jail without bond.
