The annual weekend festival of food and wine called Savor SoFlo will return to the sand on Hollywood Beach on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, under massive twin tents pitched behind Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort.

Now in its fourth year, the event will sprawl over more than 25,000 square feet of beachfront, with a DJ soundtrack and a wide menu of chefs, restaurants, wineries, breweries and spirits producers. Interactive cooking demonstrations will feature local and national chef talent.

Featured in appearances both days will be Tampa-based chefs Rosana Rivera and Ricardo Castro (Chef & The Baker), who competed on the Food Network show “Beat Bobby Flay.” Rivera beat Flay with her signature beef empanadas, which appear in his cookbook, “Beat Bobby Flay: Conquer the Kitchen with 100+ Battle-Tested Recipes.”

On Saturday at 2 p.m., there will be a wine sampling and autograph signing with reggaeton star Natti Natasha, appearing with her new Tasha Sparkling Rosé.

A portion of the proceeds from Savor SoFlo will benefit Glam-A-Thon, the breast cancer charity aligned with the Broward Health Foundation.

Tammy Gail, founder and producer of Savor SoFlo, says her goal is to celebrate “the vibrant hospitality community of South Florida.”

“We are back, bigger and better every year,” Gail says. “We are excited to welcome food enthusiasts, wine connoisseurs and craft beer lovers to join us for an extraordinary weekend on the beach.”
