Saturday night Cayuga Park fire under investigation

Apr. 28—The Niagara County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigaton Bureau and the county Fire Investigation Unit are working to determine the cause of a mobile home fire Saturday night in Cayuga Park.

First responders were called to 682 B Street about 8:30 p.m. Sheriff's deputies were first to arrive and reported heavy smoke and flames coming from the front of the mobile home.

All occupants were able to evacuate the structure and the fire was extinguished by members of the Niagara Active and Sanborn volunteer fire companies, as well as the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station Fire Department.

The mobile home sustained heavy fire and smoke damage.

No injuries were reported.
