Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office van wins contest

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office submitted their Honor Guard van into the Florida Association of Counties and the Florida Sheriff’s Association’s 2024 Vehicle Graphic Contest for the Administrative Vehicles Category — and they won, according to a Facebook post.

“We are thrilled to announce that our Honor Guard Van has won the FSA’s 2024 Vehicle Graphics Contest!” the SRCSO shared in the post.

Submissions to the contest that allowed agencies to show off their fleets of administrative vehicles were due by April 26. After submissions were processed, voters could “like” the picture of the vehicle they wanted to win the contest, and the top five winners were submitted to a committee for review and a winning selection.

The sheriff’s office thanked everyone involved in designing and implementing the graphics that they say “truly honor our commitment to service, sacrifice, and respect.” Specifically, the post thanked the Motorcycle Riding Events of America for donating the design and wrap, the Florida Sheriff’s Association for the honor, and the community for their support.

“Keep an eye out for our award-winning van on the road!” the post concluded.
