Santa Monica Police Chief Ramon Batista released a statement condemning the anti-Semitic graffiti.

“We are appalled by these cowardly acts of anti-Semitism,” Batista said. “Our department is fully committed to upholding the safety and dignity of all members of our community.”

There were a record number of anti-Semitic incidents in Los Angeles, and across California in 2023.

Hate crimes of any kind have also risen across L.A. since last year.

Anyone with information about potential suspects is asked to call 310-458-8491 to speak with a non-emergency dispatcher or utilize the Santa Monica 3-1-1 App.
