Sacramento Zoo relocation plan goes before Elk Grove City Council for final approval

The proposal to relocate the Sacramento Zoo to Elk Grove near Kammerer Road and Lotz Parkway goes before Elk Grove City Council for final approval on Wednesday. Zoo officials said that after nearly three years of negotiating, they are optimistic the animals are on track to have a new home.
