Our hearts are breaking a little bit as it seems that Ryan Goslings dog, George, has been rushed to hospital.

The news comes after The Daily Mail shared some pictures of Ryan, accompanied by his partner Eva Mendes, appear to show the actor rushing to an animal hospital in Los Angeles with his 16-year-old dog wrapped up in a blanket.

The cause of George’s hospitalization are currently unknown, but we’re so heart broken for him, especially given that we know the 36-year-old actor is a huge lover of man’s best friend.

Indeed, while Gosling is usually rather private when it comes to his personal life outside of acting, the La La Land star has previously opened up about how much he loves his dog, George.

Speaking to The Independent, Gosling explained that George was, in fact, “the great love of my life.”

“George is way more interesting than I am,” Ryan said in the interview. “I wanted George here today, you know, doing interviews with me. Normally, I take him everywhere, I have special paperwork so he can travel with me wherever I go. Can we just talk about George?”

Ryan Gosling loves George so much that he once even brought his pet to the Late Show with Jimmy Fallon.

There are even fan videos on YouTube of Ryan with George.

After news broke the George had been admitted to an animal hospital, people on social media were quick to send their thoughts to Gosling and Mendes.

We really, really hope that everything is okay with George and that he’ll make a full recovery. It’s obviously clear how much Ryan loves him and anyone who has had a pet will know how they really are a member of the family. Our fingers and toes are crossed that George, Ryan, and Eva are all okay.
