UPDATE: RV fire is out near Hancock Expressway and South Academy Boulevard

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said an RV fire in southeast Colorado Springs is now out and one person on the scene is being evaluated for minor injuries.

CSFD responded to the fire near Hancock Expressway and South Academy Boulevard at around 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, April 18. Crews said the fire was out just before 2 p.m.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) said crews are on the scene of an RV fire in southeast Colorado Springs.

CSFD posted to social media on Thursday, April 18 that an RV fire was happening near Hancock Expressway and South Academy Boulevard. CSFD said crews have water on the fire but smoke is visible in the area.
