Russell Peters gets "Ripped" in new movie
16 Jul – You know it's funny if it has Russell Peters in it. The Canadian comedian is set to star in an upcoming comedy called "Ripped".
Described as a stoner buddy comedy, according to Variety, the movie will also star American comedian Faizon Love alongside Peters.
Details of the plot is being kept under wrap but it is known that director Brad Epstein will be directing the duo as part of a cast that includes Alex Meneses, who will be featured in Eva Longoria's upcoming TV series, "Hot & Bothered".
Peters was most recently seen as a judge on "Last Comic Standing Season 8", featured as a Miami cop in 2014's "Chef" and was part of the voice cast for the English version of Malaysian animated movie, "Ribbit".
Peters currently takes a break from his "Almost Famous World Tour" to shoot the movie.
