Rushville business, two apartments catch fire on Monday
RUSHVILLE ― A building with a local business and two apartments caught fire on Monday.
The Richland Township Fire Department, along with several others, responded to a fire at 8470 Main St. on July 24. The building houses the sporting goods and firearms store, Ohio Valley Outfitters, and two apartments.
Lt. Stephanie Moore with the Richland Township Fire Department said there was one apartment upstairs and one downstairs. She said the downstairs apartment was about 40% destroyed and the upstairs apartment is likely a total loss. The business is "mostly unharmed."
The incident is under investigation.
