The Royals Are Throwing a "Party at the Palace"—Here Are the Details

Is there anything this trio can't do? Kensington Palace announced on Thursday that Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry will be hosting a children's tea party for those who have had a parent pass away while serving in the Armed Forces.
Invitations for the "Party at the Palace" are being sent out later this week, only to children under 18, plus a parent or guardian to accompany them. The tea party itself will take place on Saturday, May 13, on the grounds of Buckingham Palace and will feature "live performances, various stalls, games on the lawn and the chance to explore the gardens."

Also invited to the festivities are "a number of charities which help support families, and specifically children dealing with bereavement, including Child Bereavement UK." The Royals have been longtime supporters of bereavement charities, as the princes themselves lost their own mother at a very young age.
According to the press release from Kensington Palace, "their Royal Highnesses hope the event will provide an opportunity for these children to broaden their support networks amongst other families with similar experiences."
