The royal baby has been named Prince Louis, and everyone's got an opinion

Well, it’s official: The royal baby has been named Louis Arthur Charles — or His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge, if you’re fancy.

Kensington Palace announced the name Friday morning, and people reacted quickly.

Many approved of Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s moniker for their third child.

Some complained that it wasn’t the most creative choice, though the royals are unlikely to break tradition with a Rocket or Chicago.

There was relief that, despite a theory that the official royal website had leaked the name as Prince Albert, a name not associated in modern times with an intimate body piercing won out.

Clarification of the name’s correct pronunciation was requested.

The Jungle Book got a shoutout.

Then the One Direction fans waded in. The newborn prince shares a first name with another famous British Louis, boy bander Louis Tomlinson — and 1Ders are freaking out.

For what it’s worth, Tomlinson doesn’t seem to mind.
