Routes 30 and 222 reopen ahead of schedule after detour in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – Routes 30 and 222 at their interchange in Lancaster County have reopened to traffic.

The routes were closed since Friday night to allow crews to demolish a bridge as part of an interchange improvement project.

Traffic was detoured through downtown Lancaster.

PennDOT said the work was expected to last through Monday morning, but work wrapped up ahead of schedule.

All detours have been lifted as of midday and the roads are reopened.
