There were a few trends that ran the Oscars red carpet last night — lots of svelte black, lots of asymmetrical dresses, lots and lots of flat matte or shimmering white — but nobody owned the latter quite like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who won the maternity game in her baby-belly friendly silvery white gown. This look was perfection, from the Grecian shoulder swoop to the form fitting body and detailed bodice. It certainly doesn’t hurt that she’s a former Victoria’s Secret Angel and was #1 on Maxim’s coveted Hot 100 list, and from that perspective, it’s the dress that should be honored to have the glowing, expectant Huntington-Whiteley in it.

Just think, their baby has already been to his or her first Oscars.

We’d put Rosie at about four months (but everyone’s different!) pregnant here, totally radiating from the inside out with that special glowing mommy magic. Look at these two! We are so happy and excited for the engaged couple to expand their already beautiful little family.

Rosie cut an enviable figure, showing off her toned back and shoulders by keeping her hair up in a tight ballerina bun. She wore some cascading white gold earrings that echoed the pattern on the neckline of her Versace gown.

Rosie let her natural assets do all the talking, keeping her makeup minimal with a frosty gloss on her trademark pout. She feathered her brows and stuck on a bold lash in a beauty routine that prob took all of six seconds. Ugh, to be this naturally glamorous must be such a time saver!

So simple and so elegant! We think her bun is just a simple, slick twist, which is totally doable with a good pomade or gloss and a flick of the wrist. Better practice now before prom/wedding/nice-weather season!

“Hi everyone! This is what flawless bump-flaunting looks like!”

We are loving the high slit and organic shapes this gown creates. Rosie is proving that you can be with child and still be as sexy as ever, bringing her toned and insanely long legs out to the party.

Get it, girl! We were so looking forward to seeing Natalie Portman rock her ever-growing baby bump (she was not in attendance due to what we can assume is an intensely close due date!), but Rosie’s look is enough to hold us over for now. More designer maternity wear in the future, please! It’s the utmost in high fashion female empowerment!
