Rockville police giving away free steering wheel locks

ROCKVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — The Rockville City Police Department (RCPD) will be giving away free steering wheel locks.

The giveaway will be held on Saturday, May 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the RCPD police station, located on 2 W. Montgomery Ave.

The steering wheel locks can be used on any car.

Residents will need to show their registration card and be able to show verification that the car is registered in the City of Rockville.

Those interested will need to enter the RCPD parking lot from West Montgomery Ave. and then leave onto South Washington St. for the drive-up event.
