Rockford's Discovery Center Museum holds total eclipse event

Families gathered at the Discovery Center Museum in Rockford on Saturday for a total solar eclipse event.

The event included 15-minute planetarium shows where people would learn about eclipses. There were also several activities for children to enjoy throughout the day.

The event was held in advance of the April 8 total solar eclipse.

Jasper Health, a cancer care platform startup, laid off a substantial part of its workforce, TechCrunch has learned. Engineering and product design were among the departments impacted by the cuts, according to posts on LinkedIn from impacted employees.
