WHAT IS THE MOST REWARDING PART OF YOUR POSITION? – Knowing the school is ready for teachers and kids every morning.
WHAT IS THE MOST CHALLENGING? – The snow was the most challenging this year.
IF YOU WEREN’T DOING THIS, YOU’D BE …? – I think I would like to have a small mom-and-pop restaurant.
TELL US SOMETHING ABOUT THE STUDENTS YOU DEAL WITH THAT MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW OR APPRECIATE? – Most people don't know how much kids like giving hugs and need help tying shoes. Making sure kids have enough ranch dressing for their salads is the best part of my day!
HOW DO YOU UNWIND AFTER A LONG DAY AT WORK? – I unwind by coloring, and if it's nice out, I like to watch my son fish.
STUDENTS AND COWORKERS WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW THAT YOU …? – I have a second job at night.
WHAT IS ONE RESPONSIBILITY ABOUT YOUR POSITION THAT YOU DIDN’T KNOW EXISTED BEFORE TAKING IT? – How much summer cleaning there is. That’s when hard work starts – washing walls, windows, carpet and scrubbing floors. No summers off.
