Rob Kardashian says Blac Chyna got him through some very dark times, and we’re #SHIPPING

The future is looking bright for Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, as they’re expecting their first child together later this year. But it hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Kardashian.

He recently opened up to People about his rocky past and struggles with weight gain, explaining how Chyna helped him through the worst of it.

“I’ve been friends with Chyna for a long time,” he says. “She was someone I reached out to for advice. She would cook for me and we’d just talk. She’s surrounded me with a lot of positivity. From the moment we met, I knew I wanted to be more than friends.”

And things worked out in his favor! Kardashian now credits Chyna for helping him turn his life around and motivating him to strive for better things. “She got me through my darkest times,” he admits. “I wasn’t happy in my own skin. I missed out on so many things.”

He notes that being with Chyna helped him overcome the insecurity of going out in public, and while there are still “dark days,” he’s feeling happy and more optimistic about the future.

From Chyna’s perspective, she saw that Kardashian genuinely wanted to improve himself — and that’s why she swooped in. “I saw Rob was willing to better himself. I had never wanted to be tough. I never wanted to change him.”
