Road striping in Waverly happening Monday

WAVERLY, N.Y. (WETM) — Downtown Waverly will see some roadwork Monday evening, with police advising motorists to find other parking options.

According to a Facebook post by the Waverly Police Department, the Department of Public Works will be doing road striping to several streets on Monday, May 13.

More roadwork coming up in Athens

Police say the work will begin at 9 p.m. on Monday and will happen on the lower end of Waverly Street, the lower end of Park Avenue, and Elizabeth Street.

Drivers are asked to find alternative parking places during the evening as work is expected to take several hours.
