RN accused of taking Oxycodone headed to Union County Court

May 23—LEWISBURG — All charges filed against a registered nurse accused of illegally dispensing Oxycodone for herself are headed to the Union County Court of Common Pleas.

Following a preliminary hearing on Thursday for Stefanie Ann Kreamer, 40, of East Pine Street, Selinsgrove, Lewisburg District Judge Jeffrey Rowe bound all charges to county court. Kreamer was charged with a felony count of acquisition of a controlled substance by misrepresentation; and two misdemeanor counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered and furnishing of false or fraudulent material information.

While a nurse at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Kreamer allegedly lied about her patients' pain levels to dispense Oxycodone for herself, according to the state attorney general's office.

The charges were filed by Agent Mark Mitchell, of the state Office of Attorney General.
