Ribbon cutting for Park and Ride location opening in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — METRA (The Metropolitan Transit System) is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new Park and Ride location.

The location will see 10 new trees added to the city’s canopy, a free public parking lot, two electric vehicle charging stations, a bike shelter, repair station and more.

The event takes place May 17, at 2 p.m. at 900 Linwood Boulevard.
