Reporting live from Meridian Township

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) — The Meridian Township Board of Trustees has convened in closed session to discuss a “personnel matter.”

The Board voted to convene in closed sessions with attorneys about 7:30 p.m.

A 6 News reporter at the Township Municipal Building lobby saw Township Supervisor Pro Tem Scott Hendrickson exit the Townhall Room where the Board is meeting. That happened shortly before 8:30 p.m.

He walked to Walsh’s office.

Walsh then walked from office and into the closed session.

The closed session 6 News has learned revolved around an investigation into allegations against Walsh.
