Remarkable Woman Nancy Hampton awarded for outstanding community work & generosity
JOPLIN, Mo. — An inspiring Joplin woman is recognized by our station for her incredible work in the community.
KSN/KODE General Manager John Hoffman presented our 2024 Remarkable Woman Winner, Nancy Hampton, with a check for $1,000.
She was chosen for the tireless work she does through St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. That includes creating Affordable Christmas to help families buy gifts for their children.
She also helps provide lunches for people in need, and often visits Nicaragua, to support a village there with health care needs and education for the children. Hampton also stays in close contact with an Afghan refugee family, who the church committed to helping once they came to the U.S.
