Releases at Pipestem Reservoir to begin at 120 cfs next week

May 24—JAMESTOWN — Releases at Pipestem Reservoir will start early next week, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The Corps of Engineers said the releases at Pipestem Reservoir will be at 120 cubic feet per second to help hold the pool steady for crappie spawning.

Releases at Jamestown Resevoir will remain at 250 cubic feet per second.

With precipitation falling upstream, releases may need to be adjusted, the Corps of Engineers said.
