Red Cross schedules April blood drives

Apr. 9—April is National Volunteer Month and American Red Cross is asking donors to help protect the blood supply by making and keeping blood and platelet donation appointments in the weeks ahead. Donors of all types, especially type O blood donors and those giving platelets, are needed.

All who give by April 28 will receive a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice, plus a chance to win one of two $7,000 gift cards. Visit RedCrossBlood.org/Spring for details.

—MONDAY — 12:30 to 6 p.m. at Newfane Town Hall, 2737 Main St.

—April 17 — 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston, 505 Cayuga St.

—April 22 — Noon to 5 p.m. at Middleport Fire Department, 28 Main St.

—April 23 — 1 to 6 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Club, 189 N. Gravel Road, Medina

—April 24 — 1 to 6 p.m. at the South Lockport Volunteer Fire Company hall, 5666 S. Transit Road

—April 24 and 25 — 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Niagara University, Gallagher Center, 5795 Lewiston Road

—April 27 — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church of Niagara Falls, 736 Cayuga Drive
