Why this 'Real Housewives of Dallas' star donated her bone marrow to a total stranger
Stephanie Hollman from The Real Housewives of Dallas talked to Claudia and Jackie Oshry of The Morning Breath on Thursday about being a bone marrow donor. The mother of two revealed that about five years ago, she signed up to be a donor, and the agency told her it was less than a 1 percent chance that she would be chosen if the donation wasn’t for a family member.
Well, fast-forward about five years to now, and Hollman received a call saying she was, in fact, a 10-out-of-10 match with a total stranger. About three weeks later she was in the hospital donating her bone marrow. Hollman compared the donation process to giving blood, remarking about how easy it was.

“You can literally save somebody’s life by just donating bone marrow, and it’s maybe 30 days of feeling a little sleepy.” Hollman continued on by saying that she would absolutely donate again.
