RCSO investigating Algernon Cir. homicide, suspect suicide; identities released

UPDATE, APRIL 9, 2024, 9:00 a.m. – Monday at 9:53 pm, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office located a suspect in the Algernon Circle homicide, driving the victim’s vehicle.

The homicide victim has been identified as 46-year-old Latoya Price

The suspect initiated a traffic pursuit which ended on the 3100 block of Washington Road, Georgia State Patrol assisted in the pursuit.

When RCSO Deputies approached the suspect’s vehicle, they found he had suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased.

The suspect has been identified as 46-year-old Tarance Revell.

Chief Deputy Coroner Kenneth Boose says both Revell and Price are going to the GBI in Atlanta for autopsy Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing


RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Richmond County Sheriff’s Office investigators are on the scene of a homicide.

According to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, officers responded to the 2900 block of Algernon Circle on Monday, April 8th at 6:05 P.M. in reference to a suspicious situation.

Deputies say when they arrived on the scene they found a deceased female subject inside the residence with a gun shot wound to her head.
