Addax is a critically endangered species on the brink of extinction, with less than 100 still in the wild according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

Disney cares for a herd of addax at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, one of the only places in the world where the species can be seen outside of the wild, according to Disney.

Juniper and Julien are currently nursing and bonding in the backstage area, but Disney said they would soon join the herd at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
