Race cars fill Shenango Valley Mall
Mar. 24—HERMITAGE — Race cars filled the hallways of Shenango Valley Mall this weekend, as drivers, spectators and racing enthusiasts turned out for the 52nd annual Twin State Auto Race Car Show.
Organized by the Twin State Auto Racing Club and sponsored by O'Reilly Auto Parts, the event — held from Friday through Sunday — displayed more than 30 cars, from sprint cars to modified stock cars, throughout the mall.
Aside from the cars, the event offered a variety of events aimed at fans of all ages, from a promoters night Saturday evening for parents and adults to checkered flags that children could have autographed by their favorite drivers.
Other events included a basket raffle and a 50/50 auction, while the the Easter Bunny was also present, waving to families and offering kids candy.
