Geneva bar and grill closes doors permanently

GENEVA, Ala. (WDHN) — QB’s Sports Bar and Grill in Geneva is closed — it’s been closed for about a week now.

This is the same sports bar and grill that has been battling with the city to get a liquor license last fall — but was denied twice.

Owner Tina Miller alleged unfair treatment and discrimination after she felt the city and police department were holding an incident regarding one of her employees over her head.

Now, the owner says she is going in a different direction that will be more beneficial for her family.

The owner says they will not be getting out of the food business entirely. They will operate out of a food truck.
