Pulaski County Coroner searching for motorcycle wreck victim's next of kin

Apr. 22—UPDATE: The Pulaski County Coroner's Office said it is now in contact with the person's next of kin.

The Pulaski County Coroner's Office is asking for help in finding the next of kin for a man who was killed in a motorcycle wreck Sunday afternoon.

According to D.J. Hutchinson with the Coroner's Office, 63-year-old Daniel T. South was pronounced dead at the scene of a single-vehicle accident that took place on Ky. 196 in Nancy.

He was pronounced deceased around 4 p.m., Hutchinson said.

Hutchinson said that the information they have is that South lived on Lookout Street in Somerset.

He was described as having black/gray hair and hazel eyes, standing at 5-feet 9-inches tall, and weighing around 260 pounds.

Hutchinson explained that the Coroner's Office has not been able to find a name for any relatives for South, and South's phone was destroyed in the wreck, making it impossible to search through.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Coroner Clyde Strunk or the Pulaski County Coroner's Office at 606-679-1850.
