According to Pueblo leadership, FBI agent Laura Schwartzenberger was killed in the line of duty in Florida while serving a search warrant in 2021. Schwartzenberger grew up on Starlite Drive in Pueblo and played at the park as a young child. The park was recently updated with new playground equipment and new sidewalk pathways.
