Protesters rally outside Google I/O conference in Mountain View

(KRON) — Protesters rallied outside of Google’s I/O Conference in Mountain View Tuesday morning. The protesters are demanding that the tech company divest itself from Israel in protest over the current war in Gaza.

The Google event is taking place at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View and is also being livestreamed. Google is using the event to announce its latest product launches and updates.

Protesters at the event are demanding that Google end its involvement with the Israeli government and military.
