Leave it to a Saturday Night Live sketch to make you laugh-cry all at the same time. Chance the Rapper hosted SNL last night, and brought the entire house down. In one of the artist’s segments, SNL funnymen Chris Redd and Keenan Thompson joined forces and had an ode to Obama sing-a-long with Chance the Rapper that we didn’t even know we needed. Because, listen… We could all stand to take a self-care break from trying to impeach our current president. Even if it’s just for three minutes at a time.

It’s no secret that Chance the Rapper is pretty much obsessed with Obama. And oh, the feeling is totally mutual for the 44th president of the United States. Chance the Rapper is one of Obama’s favorite rappers. And Chance even got to invite his parents to a 2016 White House State Dinner. Who else would love to be a fly on the wall when these two Chicagoans get together? We all know Obama gives the best fatherly advice.

Decked out in their 90s R&B male group best, Chance, Redd and Thompson sang their hearts out about how much they miss having President Obama in office. Think K-Ci & JoJo’s ’00s hit “Crazy,”or Boyz II Men’s “I’ll Make Love To You.” And yes, with the baritone speaking hooks included. All in all, Chance and SNL going half on a homage to Obama track is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

Everything from bedroom montages to singing in the rain, the trio killed this “Come Back, Barack” track.

“I mean I know you’re busy with that library, and everything. But Trump don’t even got a dog, man.”

It’s ok. We totally shed a tear or two, too. And so did a lot of other fans on Twitter.

Yeah, we could totally use an iTunes or Spotify link to this epicness.
