A pro-Nikki Haley Super PAC backed by a member of the Bush clan is running a digital billboard ad in Times Square that mocks former President Donald Trump as “grumpy” and President Biden as “confused.”

The ad flashing on Broadway and 43rd Streets is bankrolled by a group called Independents Moving the Needle.

The group is co-founded by New Hampshire billionaire scientist Frank Laukien, who has donated nearly $1.7 million to push Haley among independent-minded voters.

The other co-founder is healthcare tech executive Jonathan Bush, the cousin of former President George W. Bush.

The electronic billboard, running every 8 minutes, shows Trump with a stern look on his face and calls him “grumpy.”

It then shows Biden with his right hand over his right eye looking “confused.”

A picture of a smiling Haley then appears.

“Vote Nikki Haley in your state’s Republican presidential primary,” the text of the flash ad says in closing.

But a Trump campaign rep needled Haley when asked about the high-profile spot.

“Nikki Haley is a loser candidate. She would be more successful dressing up as Spiderman and begging for change in Times Square,” said Trump senior campaign adviser Jason Miller.

In addition to being a scion of the Bush family, the group’s co-founder Jonathan Bush is the former CEO of healthcare tech company Athenahealth.

He was forced out in 2018 by Elliott Management, an activist investor that bought the company alongside Veritas Capital.

It was revealed that Bush’s ex-wife, Sarah, had accused him of domestic abuse in divorce documents filed 15 years prior to the takeover and he admitted to “regrettable incidents.”

He currently leads Zus Health, another firm that sells tech to healthcare providers.

Independents Moving the Needle continues to push Haley, the former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, despite getting thumped by Trump in every GOP state primary and caucus vote thus far — including her home Palmetto State.

Haley and groups supporting her have spent almost $100 million, but she hasn’t won a single state, with the party faithful sticking with Trump.

Sixteen states and territories will vote in the delegate-rich March 5 Super Tuesday primary and  caucuses: Alabama. Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota
North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia and American Samoa

Independents Moving the Needle said it is standing by Haley’s daunting underdog campaign, likening it to the Boston Tea Party that sparked the American resolution. It has spent about $2 million promoting Haley, a rep for the group said.

“We know the odds are currently against Nikki Haley, but we also know that our democracy deserves better than a rematch of 2020,” the group told The Post. “For anyone horrified with a prospective second term of Trump or Biden, we encourage you to vote for Nikki and send the message that most Americans want neither!”

The statement added: “Our nation faces the prospect of two self-centered, polarizing, lawless, and inept candidates for President. They also both are objectively too old for this job.”

The group said Trump is “self- absorbed by chaos and litigation”, while Biden’s mental state has “clearly declined” and claimed that both are “polarizing egomaniacs who prefer to rule by unconstitutional fiat.”

“A second term for either is a huge loss for America, and a win for foreign adversaries,” the group said.

The pro-Haley Super PAC believes she can solve tough issues like inflation, illegal immigration and “our bloated national bureaucracy” while supporting American allies and standing up to dictators abroad.
