Prince George’s County police: Man shot multiple times

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said it was investigating a fatal shooting Thursday night.

PGPD said at around 7 p.m., officers responded to the 6500 block of Hil-Mar Dr. for reports of a shooting. There, they found a man who had been shot multiple times outside in a parking lot of an apartment complex.

He died there.

A PGPD spokesperson said they believe it was a targeted shooting and that there’s no longer a threat to the surrounding area.

PGPD said it was looking for the suspects involved and a motive for the shooting.
