Prince George’s County police cars catch fire at headquarters

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Two police cruisers caught fire at the Prince George’s County Police Department’s (PGPD) headquarters in the early hours of Thursday.

The cruisers were in the headquarter’s parking garage in the 8800 block of Police Plaza in Greater Upper Marlboro. The fire happened at about 2 a.m., according to a spokesman for PGPD.

Several houses of worship hit by crime across DMV

The fire is still being investigated, but no foul play is suspected. No injuries were reported.
