Prescribed burns at Fort Moore for April 23

FORT MOORE, Ga. (WRBL) — You may see some smoke coming from our nearby military base.

Fort Moore is planning its prescribed burns in the S46 and S48 training area on Tuesday, April 23.

According to the base, wind direction is predicted to come from the south, which should help keep smoke away from sensitive areas. This is a prediction and may change through the day.
