Power restored after thousands lose power in River Ridge, Kenner

KENNER, La. (WGNO) — Thousands of people were without power in parts of Kenner and River Ridge on Friday, April 12.

Entergy’s outage map indicated there were more than 8,000 customers affected Friday morning.

A spokesperson for the company said, “We saw an outage at one of our substations in the area. Crews are working to switch customers back on now.”

All customers have had their power restored at this time.
