Power restored in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– AEP reports power has been restored to customers around the Blue Hills Drive area of Roanoke.

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)– Appalachian Power is reporting a widespread power outage in Roanoke.

According to AEP, 1,190 customers are currently in the dark in the Blue Hills Drive area of the city. There is no known cause for the outage at this time.

AEP expects power to be restored by 2:30 a.m. on Saturday morning.
