Police: Woman in Wisconsin backs vehicle up neighbor’s stairs, arrested for OWI

WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southeastern Wisconsin are reminding people that drinking and driving don’t mix as a woman allegedly backed her vehicle up her neighbor’s stairs at 7:30 in the morning.

The Whitefish Bay Police Department posted on its Facebook page about a recent incident where a resident tried to back out of their driveway. Officials say that the driver backed all the way out of their driveway, across the street, and ended up on their neighbor’s stairs.

The driver was only identified as a woman, and allegedly showed signs of impairment. She was arrested for OWI.

Authorities say that the driver refused a breath sample. Police also wanted to remind drivers that drinking and driving never mix.
