Police: 3 armed robberies within an hour on Portland’s west side possibly connected

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Authorities are investigating three robberies by gunpoint on Portland’s west side in which the suspects remain at large, officials reported Thursday afternoon.

Officers first responded to a restaurant near 1300 NW 21st Avenue just before 11 a.m. Minutes later, another armed robbery took place at a restaurant near 2000 NW Front Avenue.

Police then reported to a deli near 6600 SW Beaverton Hillsdale Highway, where a third robbery by gunpoint took place around 11:28 a.m.

Authorities have yet to find any suspects as of 1 p.m.

“Detectives are looking into the possibility that these three robberies are connected to each other or others in the area,” officials told KOIN 6 News.

Details of the robberies remain unclear. An investigation is ongoing.
