The following list was compiled from reports to area law enforcement agencies:

Owensboro Police Department

• Michael L. Rhineburger, 56, of the 7400 block of Short Station Road was charged Wednesday with obscuring the identity of a machine over $500.

• Jason A. Carter, 44, of Lewisport, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• Shana R. Edge, 32, address unknown, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• Harvey Gilliam, 51, homeless, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• James C. Bittel, 18, of the 3500 block of Comanche Place was charged Wednesday with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy.

• A Hyundai Elantra worth $11,000 was reported stolen Wednesday from the 4000 block of Carpenter Drive.

• A Chromebook, a smart watch, a mountain bicycle and an ATV were reported stolen Wednesday from a home in the 1300 block of Daviess Street.

Kentucky State Police

• Ricky L. Howard, 62, of Philpot, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence.
