Police: Man stabbed at bar in Neenah following argument, suspect arrested

NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – A man was arrested after an alleged stabbing incident that happened over the weekend in Neenah.

According to the Neenah Police Department, on March 23 around 4:40 p.m. officers were sent to Greene’s Pour House on West Wisconsin Avenue for a weapons complaint. Officials say that two men, who did not know each other before meeting at Greene’s, were playing cards and started to argue.

The argument was reportedly about accusations of theft. Authorities say that one man followed the other into the bathroom where the alleged stabbing happened.

The victim was treated and later released from a hospital.

The suspect allegedly left the scene and was eventually arrested at his residence. Authorities say this was an isolated incident and there is no further danger to the public.
