MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Murfreesboro Police Department is warning the public of a fake social media post regarding a lost and injured child that is circulating online.

The post claims a 2-year-old boy was found in Murfreesboro “1 hour ago” and authorities have taken him to the police station, but “no one has called looking for him.” It also includes a graphic image of a young boy with scars on his face.
