Police investigating two gas station burglaries along Route 4 in Farmington

Two gas stations in Farmington were burglarized in the early morning hours on Monday.

Both incidents were reported around 2:30 a.m. along Route 4 at gas stations about half a mile apart, according to Lt. Matthew S. Corcoran of the Farmington Police Department.

Scott’s Village Mobile, at 843 Farmington Ave., and Go Happy Gas Mart, at 989 Farmington Ave., were both broken into while they were closed, Corcoran said in a statement.

“The incidents are actively being investigated by the Farmington Detective Division and no arrests have been at this point,” Corcoran said. “Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, I am unable to provide further details.”
