Police investigating fatal shooting of Virginia man in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said it was investigating a fatal shooting that happened Thursday night in Hyattsville.

Suspects involved in Game Stop robbery, shooting in District Heights identified

PGPD said 33-year-old Cesar Benitez of Chantilly, Va. was shot and killed around 10:30 p.m. in the 6500 block Ager Road. He died there.

PGPD said it was still working on finding out who was involved and a motive for the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call (301) 516-2512. A reward of up to $25,000 if being offered to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and indictment of those involved.
