Police investigate road rage shooting in NW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KFOR) – The Oklahoma Police Department has confirmed its officers are on the scene investigating a shooting near 178th & May Avenue.

Police officials say, the shooting started out as road rage incident. The individuals lived near each other and exited their cars and got into a confrontation, after which one person shot the other. One person was transported to the hospital.

Authorities say, the shooter is detained currently but not arrested.

KFOR has a team on the scene.
