Police: Drugs, brass knuckles found after traffic stop in West Buffalo Township

May 10—WEST BUFFALO TOWNSHIP — An Altoona man pulled over for a traffic violation in West Buffalo Township was found with cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana and brass knuckles, according to state police in Milton.

Jameek Chamel Blocken, 41, of Third Street, Altoona, was charged with a felony count of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent; and four misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an offensive weapon; and a summary traffic violation of following too closely. The charges were filed by state Trooper Christopher Isbitski, of the Milton State Police barracks, in the Mifflinburg office of District Judge Jeffrey Mensch.

At 2:13 p.m. Aug. 8, Isbitski conducted a traffic stop of a black 2013 Ford Fusion sedan for following too closely near mile marker 198 in the area of Interstate 80 in West Buffalo Township. The driver was identified as Blocken, police said.

After Blocken granted consent to search the vehicle, police allegedly found two plastic bags containing cocaine, as well as brass knuckles, two plastic bags and a container containing marijuana, two suspected ecstasy pills and burnt marijuana joints, police said.

Blocken allegedly acknowledged he had cocaine that he was delivering to Altoona, police said.

Blocken was arraigned on Monday and committed to Union County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash bail. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 11 a.m. May 21 in front of Mensch.
