Police: Driver in Voorhees traffic accident had been shot

VOORHEES — Police responding to a multi-vehicle crash here found one of the drivers had been shot.

The victim, identified only as a 30-year-old man, was taken by ambulance to an area hospital after the May 17 accident on Route 73 and Cooper Road.

His current condition was not available.

Witnesses sought: Gunfire kills one on John F. Kennedy Way in Willingboro

Police also did not disclose details of the 11:15 p.m. accident.

An investigation is ongoing.
